Position Summary

At 123NET, our data centers are served by robust electrical systems including standby generators, UPS, and Power Distribution Units that provide reliable power to our colocation customers. We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled electrician to join our team in guiding the improvement, installation, and maintenance of these mission critical systems.

Job Duties:

· Report directly to Director of Facilities, especially in the planning and design of new data center Space and Power.

· Install and maintain the operational integrity of key electrical systems including, but not limited to Power Distribution Units, UPS systems, Switchgear and backup generators.

· Supervise and assist in the installation of branch circuits serving customer server racks.

· Coordinate maintenance schedules and manage prompt repairs to minimize operational disruptions.

· Uphold safety standards throughout the facility.

· Guide and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

· Organize and document maintenance activities.

· Address emergency system failures with prompt, decisive actions to mitigate impacts.

Qualifications:

· Certified Journeyman Electrician or higher.

· Experience with industrial/commercial electrical systems.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of leading complex technical situations to a resolution.

· A history of leading and mentoring others.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

· Able to interpret and modify electrical one line/riser diagrams.

· Familiarity with AutoCAD.

· Experience working in mission critical infrastructure (e.g, hospital, data center) preferred.

· Controls experience is a positive.
