A Network Field Technician will install and maintain our resellers and end-user customers. These positions involve exposure to voice technologies, IT, and contact center software. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are needed to interface in technical and non-technical terms to resellers and end-user customers’ IT staff.


  • Install, Accept, Line-Up, & Maintain Microwave, Multiplex, Fiber Optic, & Other Network Equipment
  • Climb & Perform Work on Communication Towers & Building Rooftops to Accept, Test, & Maintain Microwave Radio Systems
  • Coordinate Required Network Operations Center (NOC) Personnel in Isolating & Resolving Network Problems
  • Work as Part of Cross-Functional Team to Conduct Routine Preventative & Corrective Maintenance Activities
  • Support Network Deployment, Performance, & Reliability Initiatives
  • Troubleshoot Problems on His/Her Own Related to the Network
  • Provide Process Improvement Input as Needed
  • Administer an Intermediate Level Analysis for Fault Isolation Pertaining to Wireless, Fiber Optics, T-1, Telemetry, & Voice & Data Circuits
  • Perform Fiber Terminations (Mechanical Terminations & Fusion Splicing)
  • Run Structured Cable in Many Different Building Environments


  • Bachelor’s Degree is Preferred
  • 1-3 Years of Cisco WAN/LAN-Related Experience
  • 1-2 Years of Telecommunications’ Experience
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills
  • Basic VOIP/SIP Understanding
  • The Ability to Troubleshoot Network-Related Issues: Cisco Networking, IPs, & Subnets
