We are seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee the administration, maintenance, and compliance of a fleet consisting of 150 vehicles and 110 trailers. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, organizational, and budgeting skills, with a deep understanding of fleet maintenance operations, compliance, and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities:

· Fleet Administration: Manage a fleet of 150 vehicles and 110 trailers, including vehicle procurement, disposal, and fleet administration processes.

· Maintenance Oversight: Lead the maintenance of all vehicles, including scheduling repairs, establishing work procedures, and overseeing maintenance crews.

· Budgeting: Develop and manage the fleet maintenance budget, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effective fleet operations.

· Compliance: Ensure that vehicle repairs and servicing meet all manufacturer standards, federal regulations, and Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines.

· Procurement: Oversee the procurement of new vehicles, parts, equipment, and fuel, ensuring that all acquisitions are in line with budget and operational requirements.

· Vendor Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with vendors, monitor their compliance, and evaluate new products and services for potential use in the fleet.

· Environmental Compliance: Assist with fleet-related compliance for environmental and facility safety programs, ensuring adherence to all regulations.

· Fleet Records Management: Review fleet records regularly to determine optimal vehicle replacement cycles and retirement schedules.

· Fleet Management Software: Utilize fleet management software to optimize the maintenance process, improve fuel efficiency, automate vehicle inspections, and streamline overall operations.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience in fleet management, maintenance, or a related role.

· Strong knowledge of fleet maintenance procedures, DOT regulations, and compliance standards.

· Excellent budgeting, financial management, and analytical skills.

· Ability to manage maintenance teams and coordinate with vendors.

· Proficiency in fleet management software and reporting tools.

· Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

· Experience with environmental compliance and safety programs preferred.
