Senior Account Executive – Carrier Sales

Position Description:

  • Grow and manage the relationship with our existing base of carrier clients and develop a market plan for acquiring new business accounts
  • Develop new business by selling Wavelengths, Transport, Dark Fiber, and Colocation to regional and national carriers
  • Interface with current contacts to develop a deep understanding of their buying process
  • Develop a strong understanding of multiple services offered by 123Net
  • Introduce, educate and promote new 123Net products and offerings to client base
  • Contribute effectively outside of your core role and make time to help other colleagues

Qualifications:

  • Experience is selling Wavelength, Ethernet, Dark Fiber, Transport, Colocation, and SIP/TDM Voice services
  • Experience in developing and maintaining long-term business relationships
  • Pronounced work ethic
  • The ability to effectively communicate with both clients and peers
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Ability to negotiate efficiently and directly with the client or Agent
  • Strategic thinker who makes sound decisions
  • Ability to multi-task and meet multiple timelines
  • Show an intense interest in 123Net’s success
  • Capacity to problem-solve and create solutions
  • Strong knowledge of MPLS, Wavelength Service, Dark Fiber, Colocation, IP, Fixed Wireless, TDM, SIP, PBX, SONET, Optical Networking
  • Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Required education:

  • Telecommunications Sales Required: 3 years
  • Bachelor’s degree
