123Net Expands Wireless Services in Ann Arbor

123Net has officially announced the acquisition of several hundred business and residential internet customers previously served by 20/20 Communications, an Ann Arbor provider of Voice and Data Services.

20/20 was most publicly known as the private sector partner of the Wireless Washtenaw Project, a municipal/private partnership designed to expand broadband to under served portions of Washtenaw County.

123Net is planning on evaluating the current business model and making a decision on the viability of the project. There is also a strong possibility that 123Net will begin to offer expanded services in Washtenaw and the greater Ann Arbor area.
